Hi everyone! Our names are Paddy and Pixie and we are 2 of 8 kittens that sadly were on the Urgent list of a Philly shelter that was overcrowded. One of Kitty Junction's wonderful volunteers pulled us out in time so that we would have a chance to find a loving furever home. Kitty Junction is SO, SO happy to say that these two sweethearts have the found their most purrfect forever home together! Thank you so much Kevin for seeing Paddy and Pixie at the Warrington Pet Valu and wanting to add them as members of your family!! Kevin has renamed them Harley and Boots and says that they are awesome! They LOVE to sleep together on their new daddy's chest and hangout in their cat tree in front of the window as you can see from their pictures:) We couldn't be happier for the entire family!

Hi! My name is Squeaky and I am a beautiful male brown tabby kitty approximately 2-3 years of age. I was a stray kitty in Chalfont that was being fed by a very kind woman who was worried for my safety. Being that I was super friendly, it is believed that I probably belonged to someone at some point and dumped nearby as the area I was in is sadly known for being a dumping spot for unwanted pets:( Kitty Junction is absolutely thrilled to say that Squeaky has found his new furever home!! Thank you so much Amanda for seeing this cutie on our Facebook page and wanting to meet him!! In addition to new mommy Amanda, Squeaky has a new feline sister Elphie who he is slowly getting to know:) Amanda says that he is such a cuddler!! He LOVES to lay with her and receive lots of pets and also loves his playtime too:) Hi everyone! My name is Buddy and I am a gorgeous 3 year old long hair orange & white male kitty. I was rescued by a kind woman in SW Philly with my mom and my two sisters when I was just 12 weeks of age. While my rescuer loved me, she couldn't afford to take care of us and a lot of other lucky kitties she had saved in the same bad neighborhood. I thought I hit the jackpot when I was adopted by another wonderful woman but sadly it was short lived as she developed severe allergies to me and her doctor told her that she would never get better if I stayed:( Kitty Junction is so happy to say that Buddy has found his new forever home!! Thank you so much Shannon and Shawn for seeing the posts about this sweet guy needing a new home and opening up not only your home but also your hearts to him!! They have renamed him Ollie and are so happy to say that he and their other kitties Maggie, Rosie and Rocky have hit it off wonderfully:) He and Rocky both have their favorite spots on the sofa as you can see from the pictures!
Hi everyone!! My name is Maddie and I am a very sweet female brown and white tabby kitty approximately 2-3 years of age. I was found in a really bad area of Kensington by a girl who was feeding the stray neighborhood cats. I was trapped with the intention of getting me spayed and then released back out but after my rescuer saw how sweet and friendly I was she didn’t have the heart to put me back on the street. You might notice that my eyes look a little different. I was taken to an eye specialist at VSEC who said that I had Entropy in both eyes. It is a condition where my lashes were inverted so they were constantly rubbing against my eyes I have since had surgery to fix both eyes and even though they look a little funny I am SO much more comfortable now!! I LOVE to eat my canned cat food and am known to follow you from room to room, sometimes zooming through the house to be with you. Once I am comfortable, I may even show you my party trick---I will give you a high-five with my paw if you hold your hand up and say high-five! I am not a lap kitty per se but I am VERY affectionate and LOVE to be pet! Kitty Junction is over the moon excited to say that sweet Maddie has finally found her amazing forever family!! Thank you so much Alissa, Anthony and Ashton for coming to meet this adorable girl at the Warrington Pet Valu and wanting to add her as a member of your wonderful family!! Maddie fit right in and is loving exploring their house, following her baby brother Aston around and rubbing up against everyone purring up a storm!! While not a lap kitty in her foster home, she has definitely become one in her new home as you can see from the pictures! When not cuddling with the family, Maddie loves her new cat bed and laying in the sun by the front door:) The family is completely in love with her and it's very obvious from the pictures that Maddie is equally if not more in love with them!!
Hi! Our names are Ollie and Lilly and we are beautiful brother/sister kitties approximately 3 years of age. Sadly we had a home once but our former owner decided to rehome us when he moved out of state and the person he gave us to dumped us in one of the worst areas of Kensington imaginable. A man who feeds some of the feral kitties in the area saw us and how we were struggling to survive. He knew that we didn't belong on the streets and also knew that we wouldn't survive very long with winter approaching. He trapped us and brought us to the only open take shelter in Philadelphia that unfortunately has to euthanize when they are full. We were completely terrified there. So many loud noises and small cages. The shelter was able to contact our previous owner because of our microchips but they said he did not seem to care about us any more nor the fact that the person he gave us to literally dumped us in an area where we easily could have been killed:( Kitty Junction is SO excited to say that not only have Ollie and Lilly found their new furever home together but that they have found it with one of our wonderful foster moms, Tracy and her husband Glenn!!! Tracy and Glenn couldn't bear the idea of letting these sweethearts go especially knowing how long it took them to recover from the trauma they had gone through previously and the stress of what a new change could possibly do to them. As you can see from their pictures, Ollie and Lilly absolutely adore Tracy and Glenn and LOVE to cuddle with them!! They also have a super sweet canine sister named Maggie and kitty brother named Jasper:) We have no doubt that their home with Tracy and Glenn will be their furever home where they will be loved and cherished every day as they deserve to be!!
Hi everyone! Our names are Eddie and Sebastian and we are two male kitties that became the best of friends after both sadly being abandoned by our former owners. The picture on the left is of me Eddie and I am a 2.5 year old black & white male with a soft coat:) I had a home once. My family moved and put me on the roof in SW Philly leaving me to cook in the sweltering heat. I couldn’t get down. I became weak sick and developed a bad eye infection that ruptured my eye. It took several days for a Good Samaritan to get me off the roof. Although I am gentle, sweet, playful, peaceful and affectionate, some may say I am damaged and look the other way . My foster mom says she doesn’t even notice my imperfect eye because my sweetness shines so brightly! The picture on the right is of my best friend Sebastian! He is a 3 year old tabby tux. He found the same Good Samaritan who rescued me when his family in SW Philly moved and left him behind outside. He was confused and all alone. He was very frightened of the homeless cats who would chase him away from food. He understood they were only trying to protect what little they had. He would crouch in the corner and wait until everyone had eaten and left. Carefully and slowly he would approach the food bowl and lick the empty bowl. They never left a morsel behind! Not one! This Good Samaritan noticed how he was struggling on the street for weeks, losing weight and losing hope and made the decision to take him in too to protect him. We have been best friends ever since! Kitty Junction is thrilled to be able to say that these two sweet boys have finally found their amazing forever home together!! Thank you so much Lauryn for seeing Eddie and Sebastian online and coming to meet them in their foster home:) Lauryn says "Eddie and Sebastian (we kept their names☺️) have been doing so great! There is such a difference between the first few days and now. They still get scared at certain noises, but now they greet us and are really affectionate and will sit on our laps. They LOVE being by windows! And they love to play too, they have become sooooo playful in the last week -The white dome in the pictures is a new toy we got for them, it's a "fox den" and a fox tail looking thing will come out and swish from side to side when you turn it on...it's one of their favorite things now, besides sitting in windows 😄)"
