Hi friends! Our names are Bonita and Cjnder and we are beautiful brown female tabbies approximately 1 1/2 years old and 6 months old. I, Bonita, was trapped in Willow Grove and sadly had an eye that was either damaged or never developed properly. I was super tiny for my age so much so that it originally was thought that I was a young kitten. My best friend Cinder was found along with her 4 siblings under a deck in Warminster.
When Heather and Jimmy visited the MeWow Cat Cafe they immediately fell for Bonita! How could they not as she is such an amazingly sweet, affectionate and playful young girl They set her up with everything- new toys, new beds, a water fountain and they even bought her steps to make it easier for her to get to the window sill as two of her favorite pastimes is watching the world outside and sunbathing! Despite being completely spoiled by her new mommy and daddy, Bonita seemed to be a little off. Her appetite which is normally stellar (she was a little chunky) wasn’t great and she was spending a lot of time alone which is not like her. After a quick trip to the vet which told us she was physically ok, we had the thought that just maybe she was missing the companionship of other kitties as she was very mothering to the younger kittens at the cafe. After mentioning our thoughts to Heather and Jimmy, they said they wanted to do whatever they needed to do to make Bonita happy and immediately opened their home to Cinder! We think the pictures say it all This further confirms our belief that kittens and young adults are happier with a kitty friend Thank you so much Heather and Jimmy for opening your heart and home to both of these amazing girls!
