Buddy & Cookie

Hi! Our names are Buddy and Cookie Puss and we are the sweetest male white and brown tabby brothers approximately 6 years of age. This past fall we, along with our mom, were all found curled up around our owner who was found deceased in our home located in NE Philly. We were very loyal to him and understandably had our world turned upset down with his loss. To make things worse, family members who were desperate to find a safe place for us to go before the home was sold were told by the local SPCA that they had no room for us and told them to "just open the door and let us out.” We had been in our now empty home for weeks with just a family member coming every few days to leave us food, fresh water and to clean our litter box. We were always indoor-only kitties so we would have no idea how to navigate the dangerous streets of NE Philly, let alone be able to find food or survive the winter with no winter coat of fur. Luckily on a chance encounter a family member met the mom of one of Kitty Junction's foster moms who relayed their sad story and they were able to find a temporary foster home for us despite being full.

To see and hear how incredibly happy and comfortable Buddy and Cookie are in their new furever home literally had us in tears. We truly cannot thank Angela enough for seeing their pictures and story and wanting to help them by offering them a furever home with her When we arrived to their previous owner’s home, Buddy and Cookie were completely terrified as they had no contact with any other humans but their owner who had passed. They sadly were all hiding under the basement steps as far back and they could possibly go. Even in the safety of their foster home they mostly hid for the first few weeks. Buddy being the shyer of the two mostly hid for the first two months. When Angela sent us pictures of them in just two days after we brought them to her we were beyond shocked! They were both out and about either curled up on her sofa or enjoying the view out her windows To hear that they were following her around within the first week could not have been any more heartwarming!! Angela is their saving angel and to know that these two sweet and deserving brothers completely trust her and have completely bonded with her is the most amazing thing in the world Angela says they love to spend time on the radiator together, grooming each other's heads. They follow her around in the morning and in the evening. They double team her in the morning, meowing at her bedroom door, telling her to get up and feed them

We wish Buddy Boy and Cookie the most amazing life with Angela!
