Hi! Our names are Duke and Lucy and we are a brother and sister pair of all black kitties approximately 3 years of age. We were originally adopted from another local rescue as kittens, but recently our adopter has fallen on hard times and we sadly lost our home. Kitty Junction was able to find us a wonderful foster mom who was hoping to be able to adopt us but unfortunately even with a very slow introduction her existing senior kitty is very upset and stressed that we are here. We are being kept safe in a bedroom but would love to find a new furever home to call our own. I, Duke, have mild CH which causes me to have a little wobbliness in my back legs. I also need to be on a prescription urinary dry food so that I don’t suffer from any more crystals.

Look how happy Duke and Lucy are in their new furever home together!! Thank you so much Helene for visiting them in their foster home and wanting to add them as members of your wonderful family! Helene says Duke and Lucy are all settled in. Duke is still a little shy, but we had family over and he came down to check out the action. He is very affectionate and likes to make his presence known in the middle of the night. He is quite large and loves to flop on top of you He has been described as a furry bowling ball! He also has a habit of laying across the middle step in the Livingroom while showing his belly. Since he is black and covers almost the whole width of the step, we leave lights on to keep from stepping on him. Duke’s spot is the top of the cat tree. (Thank you foster mom Kelly). Lucy’s spot is a black chair in the dining room. It is a good thing she wears a collar with lots of bling otherwise she just blends in
Duke continues to be on his special diet and has had no problems. It has not been an issue keeping their food separate. They are a great pair, and we are so glad they are now a part of our family!

We couldn’t be more thrilled for Duke and Lucy and wish them continued happiness with Helene and her family!
