Hi friends! My name is Monkey and I was just a month or two old when I was dropped off at Philly ACCT needing help due to both of my eyes being in pretty bad shape. The condition of my eyes required more help than ACCT could provide so they put me on the rescue urgent list to get me the help I needed. It was thought that both of my eyes might need to be removed but with the dedication and support of my foster mom Amanda and my doctors, one of my eyes was able to be saved.
Kitty Junction is absolutely thrilled to say that not only has Monkey found her furever home she has found it with her foster mom Amanda who couldn’t help but fall in love with her!! Monkey will most likely need to be on eye medication for the rest of her life to regulate the pressure in her eye that was able to be saved which Amanda is very familiar giving her. As you can see from her pictures, Monkey is healing very well from her eye removal surgery and is just as happy as can be! She has another kitty friend to play with too when she is not found snuggled up with her mommy
