Hi! My name is Penelope and I am a gorgeous 8 month old female tabby calico mix. I showed up on a family’s property in Lancaster when I was just a few months old. The family sadly could not take me in and were worried that some of the neighbor’s dogs who are allowed to roam freely might hurt me. When I first came into the rescue it was found that I had a pretty severe tail injury that required part of it to be amputated.

A huge thank you to Cheryl and her amazing family for meeting Penelope at the MeWow Cat Cafe and opening your home and hearts to this sweet girl!! In addition to new mommy Cheryl and new daddy Jonathan, Penelope now has two human siblings in Owen and Allison and some Guinea Pig cousins😻 Cheryl says Penelope has completely made herself at home! She has claimed her favorite chair to nap in and her favorite spot on the back of the sofa for squirrel watching as you can see from her pictures😀 Every day without fail, Penelope runs to greet Allison at the front door when she gets home from school❤️ She is even getting along with the guinea pigs just fine!
