Hi everyone!! My name is Rocky and I am a very handsome gray male tabby approximately 3 1/2 years of age. I am a very friendly kitty that sadly had been seen living on the streets of Philadelphia for the past year. I survived by eating out of garbage cans and with the help of local colony feeders. A kind woman who does TNR trapping in the area thought I deserved a much better life and brought me in. It turns out that I was previously adopted from ACCT in the city which became known when the vet scanned me and found a microchip. Several calls and voicemails to my former owner went unanswered so my rescuers believe I was probably dumped which happens much too often in parts of the city:(
The saying goes another man’s trash is another man’s treasure and in this case it could not be more true!! Rocky is just the sweetest and most friendly guy and it didn’t take him long at all to win over his new mommy and daddy at the MeWow Cat Cafe! Thank you so much Leanne and Joe for falling in love with this amazing boy and wanting to add him as a member of your wonderful family!! Leanne and Joe were looking for a companion kitty for their 15 year old female kitty who just lost her sister and while not snuggle buddies yet, she and Rocky are getting along great! As you can see from his pictures Rocky loves his brand new bed! One of his favorite past times is birdwatching out the window where the family has a birdfeeder. Leanne says he is having so much fun exploring his new home and quite often gets the zoomies where he just runs from one end to another like crazy!
